Terms & Conditions

Shipping & Delivery

We ship within the United States and internationally, subject to regional regulations and freight availability.

International Shipping

  • We offer free, no-obligation international shipping quotes
  • Most international shipments are quoted DDP (Delivery Duty Paid), meaning:
  • Shipping, insurance, export/import fees, customs duties, and taxes are included
  • You know the total landed cost upfront, no surprise charges
  • Alternative shipping terms may be available upon request
  • International payments are typically made via bank wire transfer
  • Batteries can only be shipped by surface transportation, such as LTL freight or ocean freight

  • Certain premium battery models may ship directly from China-based inventory when appropriate

Product Use & Applications

Our solar system batteries are designed for residential, commercial, and off-grid energy storage applications.

You may use our batteries:

  • With solar power systems and compatible inverters
  • As backup power systems (UPS-style operation)
  • For time-of-use or peak-rate energy cost management
  • As standalone battery systems without solar, when paired with proper chargers and inverters

Our batteries provide:

  • Silent operation
  • No carbon monoxide emissions
  • No routine maintenance
  • Instant power availability when properly installed

Battery Technology & Safety

All products use Lithium Ferrous Phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry, widely recognized as one of the safest battery technologies available.

Key safety features:

  • No thermal runaway
  • Fire-resistant chemistry
  • Laser-welded internal connections
  • Battery Management System (BMS)
  • Multiple internal temperature sensors
  • Integrated battery heaters for cold-weather protection

Charging a frozen lithium ferrous phosphate battery can cause permanent damage. Our batteries automatically prevent unsafe charging conditions.

Battery Ratings & Performance

We provide conservative, transparent capacity ratings to protect long-term battery life.

  • Capacity ratings reflect usable energy, not theoretical maximums
  • BMS limits the extreme depth of discharge to extend the lifespan
  • Battery capacity will naturally decline over time due to normal aging
  • Proper installation, temperature control, and charging practices significantly extend battery life

Claims of extreme cycle life depend heavily on operating conditions. Always evaluate cycle life claims carefully.

Installation Requirements & Electrical Safety

Due to the high energy capacity of our premium batteries, proper installation is critical.

  • Installation must be performed or verified by a licensed electrician
  • Use insulated tools, protective gloves, and eye protection
  • Always confirm circuit breakers are OFF before installation
  • Use properly sized, high-current-rated cables and UL-listed lugs
  • Batteries are heavy and require safe handling assistance

We are not responsible for damage, injury, or loss resulting from improper installation or handling.

Battery Configuration & Paralleling

  • Only batteries of the same model may be connected in parallel unless recommended or approved by Trophy Battery.

  • Never connect batteries in series
  • Never mix battery models or capacities unless explicitly approved
  • Improper connections may result in safety hazards and void warranties
  • Batteries must be connected in parallel (+ to + and – to -), not in series

For custom configurations, contact our support team before installation.

Charging Requirements

  • Use only chargers or inverters specifically rated for LiFePO4 batteries
  • Never connect batteries directly to AC power
  • Never charge using a vehicle alternator without using a proper DC to DC Charger

  • Charging profiles must be correctly configured for lithium ferrous phosphate chemistry

Incorrect charging may cause damage and void warranties.

Inventory, Orders & Preorders

We strive to maintain inventory; however, supply chain delays may occur.

If a product is unavailable:

  • You may preorder to reserve inventory, or

  • Join our notification waitlist with no obligation

Note: Paid preorders receive fulfillment priority.

Shipping timelines are estimates and may change due to factors beyond our control.

Certifications & Compliance

All battery cells comply with UN38.3 transportation safety testing, including:

  • Thermal, vibration, shock, and impact testing
  • Overcharge and forced discharge testing

Documentation is available upon request.

Warranty & Liability Disclaimer

Our products:

  • Must not be used in life-support, life-critical, or nuclear applications
  • Are not guaranteed to provide uninterrupted power
  • May fail under extreme or improper conditions

We disclaim all liability for:

  • Improper installation
  • Unauthorized modifications
  • Use outside intended applications

Using our products in prohibited applications voids all warranties.
